How to choose the power of ring transformer
The application scope of the ring transformer is very common. When selecting the ring transformer, the output power of the ring transformer should be determined according to the working voltage and current application of the load. The allowable output current of the ring transformer is the output current at full load. Under load, the ring transformer can output more than 30% of the rated voltage. The load working capacity of the ring transformer is very good, but the following two points must be paid attention to.
1. It shall be used to operate loaded mechanical equipment
The current amount of some machines and equipment during operation is rated, but the current amount during operation is very large, sometimes exceeding 30%~50% of the rated voltage. For example, the load working capacity of communication AC servo motor is generally designed to be 3 times of the rated electrical flow. When the load is running, the current is very large, which stipulates that the high-frequency transformer is loaded in a short time. Machines and equipment with such working voltage load are equipped with high-frequency transformers, and the rated output current of the transformer must be considered to exceed 20% of the rated voltage of the machine and equipment. Because of frequent operating load, the temperature of high-frequency transformer increases, and the service life of long-term transformer decreases.
2. Applicable to unloaded machinery and equipment
The design of many components will fully consider the large working current, and the operating current will not be loaded. For example, the servo motor is used as the driving force of the machine equipment, and the electrical flow in the work is the same as the operating current. When selecting the high-frequency transformer, it is not necessary to design the sufficient output current of the high-frequency transformer if the output current is equal to or more than 10% of the larger current of the servo motor controller. The servo motor is always not easy to have load current. In a large number of office environments, the output power of servo motors is variable. This requires that the main parameters of the working voltage and current should be defined during the overall design, and the effective output power should be obtained by human factors. In fact, the output power of the servo motor decreases with the increase of the speed ratio. Servo motor with high-frequency transformer is the best choice.
In general, the loop transformer has small coil loss, stable operation and strong load working capacity. Especially in the application of servo motor switching power supply, the ring transformer mainly shows excellent characteristics, far exceeding the characteristics of U-type and E-type transformers.
